Old Siberian tales say, that a long time ago in the Sayan mountains there existed the civilisation which gave birth to the peoples of today's South Siberia. This early civilisation became known as the 'Ancient Kuzhebar Culture', because the first artefacts were found in the Siberian village of Nizhny Kuzhebar in the region of Krassnoyarsk.

Even today, there is still an air of mystery about Ancient Kuzhebar.
